	ENGINE 1 RESPONDS MUTUAL AID FOR EXTRICATION
	NEW VINEYARD: 06/18/09 21:21- Units were dispatched to Route 27 in New Vineyard for a reported 10-55 car fire with entrapment. C-1, C-3, and Engine 1 responded to the call. Upon arrival crews extricated the patient from the vehicle and assisted NorthStar ambulance with loading the paitent into the ambulance. Units cleared the scene in about 30 minutes.

	ENGINE 1 & 2 RESPOND TO GARBAGE TRUCK FIRE
	FARMINGTON: 04/30/09 18:15- Units were dispatched to Poverty Lane for a reported garbage truck fire. C-1, Engine 1 & 2 responded to the call. Upon arrival crews found a garbage truck parked next to a building with the contents of the truck on fire. Crews extinguished the stubborn fire and cleared the scene in about 45 minutes.

	NEW SHARON: 04/20/09 12:30- Units were dispatched to the Swan Road for a reported brush fire spreading rapidly.
	APARTMENT FIRE AT THE FARMINGTON MOTEL
	FARMINGTON: 02/18/09 09:30- Units were dispatched to the Farmington Falls Road for a reported apartment fire at the Farmington Motel. Mutual Aid was toned out to Jay, Wilton, Temple, New Sharon Fire Departments. Crews worked quickly to contain the fire to a kitchen in an apartment at the motel. After the flames were extinguished, crews overhauled the remaining rooms. Units cleared in about two and half hours.
	FEBRUARY FIRE RESCUE TRAINING - FIREFIGHTER SURVIVAL TACTICTS
	FARMINGTON: 02/17/09 18:00- February Fire Rescue Training - Firefighter Survival. Crews broke out into teams and trained on using their SCBA blind folded. They went through a series of evolutions.
	THIRD CHIMNEY FIRE OF THE DAY
	FARMINGTON: 02/14/09 19:00- Units were dispatched to the Weeks Mills Road for a possible chimney fire. Chimney was inspected and no fire was evident. Units cleared in about half hour.
